Artist in Residency Fellowship at Crazy Horse Memorial®-Online

May 13, 2020 @ 12:30 pm

Artists, musicians, writers, or culture bearers will work on their projects and goals for their art during a one-month Artist in Residency Fellowship. The Artist in Residency Fellows will share their experience with the public by demonstration, discussion, workshops, lecture, or other means on Wednesdays at 12:30 pm in THE NATIVE AMERICAN EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL CENTER® (NAECC) from May through October. Artists will also market and sell their art.

We will be holding this residency remotely with Janice and Daniel working from their home studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and providing updates throughout the month that will be shared virtually through the social media pages of The Indian Museum of North America®.
The artist couple will be creating saddles from elk leather with sterling silver and turquoise. The public can view all updates on the residency on the Facebook page for The Indian Museum of North America® including weekly artist talks presented every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. MST.
For more information, please visit www.crazyhorsememorial.org and follow The Indian Museum of North America® on social media or contact Lee Rainboth, Cultural Programs Manager, culturalprograms@crazyhorse.org, phone 605-673-4681.
