Our fully-furnished and well-appointed cabins are nestled in the heart of the Black Hills. Centrally located to all the major attractions, and just five miles from Mount Rushmore, Yak Ridge offers the best of both worlds – easy access as well as peace and tranquility!  Enjoy mountain and meadow views, campfires, and wildlife on 10 beautiful acres. An elevation of 5,000 feet provides for cool evenings and star-studded skies. 

Studio and two-bedroom cabins sleep 2 to 6 and offer full kitchens, full baths, covered porches, and much more.  Custom built in 2015 and 2018, our cabin offers rustic charm and modern amenities for your home away from home. Kitchen are equipped with refrigerator, microwave, electric range, toaster, coffee makers, dishware, glassware, cookware, cutlery, utensils, and more. Each cabin has its own gas grill and campfire ring. Bed, bath, and kitchen linens are provided. Need to stay connected? Two cell towers on adjacent properties provide excellent cell service and internet for your smart phone and hot spot.

Guests can schedule a tour of our farmstead which is located on acreage adjacent to the cabins. The farmstead is home to our chickens, honey bees, and small herd of Himalayan yaks!
